The IPCITI 2010 Organising Committee would like to thank all delegates for their contribution to what has been a stimulating and thought-provoking conference. We hope that you were able to forge new friendships and networks not only during the lectures and panels, but over wine and coffee as well. We would like to extend our sincere thanks to Dr Kate Sturge, Professor Raffaela Merlini and Professor Mona Baker.
We would also like to thank external committee members from our partnering institutions: Kimmo Kallio and Michèle Milan from Dublin City University, Majida Deem Ibrahim from Heriot-Watt University, as well as Mara Götz and Elena Sanz Ortega of the University of Edinburgh. The committee would also like to express our gratitude to Mr Kang Tchou who stepped in with only a few hours notice to replace a speaker who was unable to attend to present his paper.
We were impressed by the quality of the papers delivered and particularly with the discussions that followed in which many very insightful questions were asked and feedback offered.
Next year's IPCITI will be held at the University of Edinburgh. We look forward to meeting many of you again there!
